Dr Bryant Welch: Nationally prominent psychologist providing psychotherapy, marriage and family counseling, forensic expert witness services, and executive coaching. Bryant Welch has been a nationally prominent clinical psychologist for over thirty years. Dr. Welch graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School before receiving his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a Diplomate and a Research Associate graduate of the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Welch was the architect and first executive director of the APA Practice Directorate and guided Organized Psychology through its most effective advocacy era expanding access to quality psychological services for the elderly, the disabled, and gay and lesbian populations. He has received numerous national awards and honors for his work, and in August of 2005 was awarded the American Psychological Association’s Presidential Citation for “seminal and unique contribution to professional psychological practice.” For thirty-five years Dr. Welch has provided intensive psychotherapy to individuals and couples, consulted with attorneys and mental health professionals on legal and ethical issues, and provided executive level coaching to professionals from all walks of life.
