BryLin Hospital is a short-term acute care psychiatric hospital in Buffalo, New York, and has been family-owned and operated since 1955. It functions as Western New York’s private behavioral health provider offering crisis care for all ages, including crisis stabilization for children, adolescents, and adults with conditions such as major depression, debilitating anxiety, bipolar disorder, or thoughts of suicide. On the fourth floor, the Center of Excellence houses an Electroconvulsive Therapy program described as the ambulatory ECT center—the only one of its kind in Western New York. The center emphasizes treating the whole person—physically, psychologically, and spiritually—and offers a broad range of programs and therapies, from DBT, CBT, and EMDR to holistic and alternative modalities. In October 2025, BryLin Hospitals announced the launch of a Music Therapy program in partnership with May Creative Arts, reflecting an ongoing expansion of its therapeutic offerings.
