Buchiglas USA Corp. functions as a distributor of pilot plants and reactor systems produced by its Swiss parent, Buchi AG, covering the United States and Canada. The company serves the pharmaceutical and chemical industries and provides additional services such as consulting, engineering, installation and maintenance alongside its equipment sales. Its offerings center on two main product families—pressure reactors and glass reactors—available in multiple sizes and materials to support research and production needs.
Headquartered in Farmingdale, New York, the firm operates as a mid-sized player within the North American market, linked to a global equipment manufacturer. Its customers are largely in pharma and chemicals, needing pilot-plant capabilities or production-scale reactors together with engineering support to move projects from development through scale-up. In early 2021, Büchi AG introduced the UniClave pressure reactor, a development tied to the Buchiglas portfolio.
