Buhl Park exists today because of a vision that was never meant to end. In the early 1900s, Frank and Julia Buhl created a park for the community. Free and open to all. More than 100 years later, that legacy continues. What makes Buhl Park unique is this: It operates with zero tax funding. The park is sustained through a protected endowment and the support of a community that believes in its future. That endowment, while essential, is limited in how it can be used, which makes long-term sustainability a shared responsibility. Buhl Park is more than a place people enjoy. It’s a legacy, one that depends on those willing to help carry it forward.
