Large district scale Burbank Unified School District serves over 15,000 students with 17 schools and 501-1000 employees, indicating a sizable IT and operations footprint with ongoing needs for scalable solutions, professional services, and enterprise licenses.

Technology stack The district already utilizes cloud and analytics tools (AWS, Microsoft Azure, New Relic, Heap) and collaboration/identity/security solutions (Slack, 1Password, AudioEye, Pendo). This presents opportunities to upsell integrated analytics, modernization, security, accessibility, and user adoption services.

Recent leadership A new superintendent appointment and recent governance news suggest a period of strategic reevaluation and potential procurement cycles, presenting a window for enterprise partnerships, modernization initiatives, and program upgrades aligned with district priorities.

Funding potential With substantial revenue scope (mid to high hundreds of millions) and a large student base, there is likely ongoing capital and operating budget for technology, facilities, and curriculum enhancements suitable for contracted services, software, and hardware deployments.

Community partnerships Past collaboration with local councils and focus on inclusion, anti-hate initiatives, and student wellbeing indicate opportunities for programs in safety, equity analytics, digital citizenship, and community engagement platforms that align with district values.
