BUSHkids is a not-for-profit based in Toowong, Queensland, providing free preventative and early intervention allied health services to children and families across regional, rural and remote parts of the state, with a history spanning more than 80 years. A multidisciplinary team, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists and family health support workers, delivers these services to children at risk of poor health, educational and social outcomes. The care aims to help children improve speech, behavior, resilience, daily functioning and social interaction at home, in early education settings, at school and during play. The organization also provides developmental and educational programs intended to bolster family wellbeing and community capacity, including parenting support, school readiness, literacy and language development. Services are organized around five regional service centres in Bundaberg, Dalby, Emerald, Mount Isa and Warwick, supported by four satellite centres; in early 2026 the organisation announced a partnership with Impact Pathways to deliver a Bundaberg community playgroup.
