Busse Design is a mid-sized design studio based in Oakland and San Francisco, California, specializing in user experience design. Founded in 1997, it provides full-service UX work for desktop, mobile, device applications, and websites. The firm partners with clients across industries to create interfaces that are easy to use and visually coherent, grounded in an understanding of user needs and business goals.

Its approach begins with a deep immersion into the client's business and user context, followed by information architecture and interaction design to define structure, maps, UI sketches, and interaction flows. Visual designers then establish the look and feel, working within existing brand guidelines or developing new ones, with attention to how the designs integrate with the client's technologies and development processes. Busse Design also maintains a sister company, Busse Design + Engineering GmbH, founded in 1959, which offers a broader set of industrial design services.
