Many people suffer with breathing problems like asthma, anxiety and snoring. Our goal is to use breathing exercises to alleviate these breathing problems. At the Buteyko Clinic we offer treatment for a variety of ailments by improving the way people breath. In the past we have successfully treated people with asthma, anxiety, sleep apnea, hayfever, stress, fatigue, high blood pressure, amongst others. Our breathing exercises are also highly beneficial to recreational and professional athletes alike. My new book, The Oxygen Advantage, due to be published in 2015, will deal exclusively with improving sports-performance through changing breathing techniques.

My story begins with 20 years of asthma suffering and medical treatments. Upon hearing about the Buteyko Method, a treatment process solely based on breathing excercises, I went to Moscow to be trained under the guidance of  Dr Konstantin Buteyko. I quickly found that my asthma symptoms completely reversed, allowing me to completely stop using medication. As a result of improving my breathing patterns, I found all aspects of my health and well-being improved including reduced stress, better sleep and more energy.

Since then I have been treating many different ailments with my breathing exercises. I offer one-on-one and group courses, as well as regularly giving lectures around the world. I have 8 books and 2 DVD sets available online and in selected stores. I also do training for those who want to become Buteyko practitioners themselves. It is my goal to help people who suffer as I did to vastly improve their quality of life through simple, medically-proven breathing techniques.
