Buyamba Uganda is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization established in 1999 to support an orphan outreach effort in Uganda. Through child sponsorships and resource provision, it supports the education and care of more than 1,500 children there. The organization is based in Westlake Village, California, operating with a small team committed to its mission. In Uganda, Buyamba helped establish God Cares Nursery and Primary School in 2002, which began with 97 children in a church basement. Its work centers on education and discipleship for orphans and needy children, aiming to equip them to shape Uganda's future. The organization envisions further expansion, including a third God Cares school in Jinja and a Buyamba Children's Village to provide a family setting for the orphans.
