BWZ Architects is a professional services firm founded in 1962. The complementary design and management abilities of firm principals Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Cwik, provide a strong and balanced leadership. Our current staff of architects and support staff have a wide range of skills and experience and offer our clients a well-rounded team.

BWZ offers a successful portfolio of projects in the commercial, civic, residential, religious and academic fields. BWZ has planned and completed facilities in the Madison area and throughout the upper Midwest. Our design philosophy is project specific. Each project has its own requirements, and the primary mission of the design team is to respond creatively to these unique circumstances. Issues, including flexibility, future growth, and phasing, are often critical in successful long range planning.
