The Cairns Convention Centre is a venue in Cairns, Queensland that serves the events services sector. It offers 45,000 square metres of flexible space designed for conferences of up to 2,500 delegates, along with a 2,330-seat auditorium that can be divided, a 5,000-seat arena for exhibitions and gala dinners, a 440-seat plenary hall, and 18 meeting rooms. The facility also includes a ballroom for 500 guests, an outdoor terrace with views of Trinity Inlet, and an exhibition area that highlights the region's natural assets. Located in Tropical North Queensland, the centre benefits from proximity to more than 8,000 hotel rooms and is about seven kilometres from Cairns International Airport, supporting easy access for both domestic and international delegates. It is operated by ASM Global, a global venue management company, and has been recognised as a World’s Best Congress Centre in 2014 and 2004. In May 2026 it launched a First Nations-inspired dining experience that integrates cultural storytelling and native ingredients into conference dining.
