Cal Farley's Boys Ranch is a nonprofit organization founded in 1939 north of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. It provides residential services at no cost to families, offering a campus-style living arrangement where children reside in homes or cottages and receive 24-hour supervision, schooling, and a range of academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities. Adult mentors, houseparent couples, caseworkers, and professionals guide residents toward developing their potential and preparing for graduation or completion of therapeutic plans. The organization sits on about 12,000 acres in the rugged mesas northwest of Amarillo, with the Boys Ranch itself spanning about 1,000 acres and operating as a self-supporting community. It serves at-risk children ages 5 to 18, providing facilities that include residential homes, an independent school district, a chapel, recreational amenities, a fire department, and water treatment. In 2025, Cal Farley's Boys Ranch announced the schedule for its 81st annual Boys Ranch Rodeo and Fall Fest, illustrating ongoing community events tied to its campus.
