Calgary Foothills Primary Care Network is a collaboration of more than 600 family doctors and nurse practitioners who work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver primary health care. The network serves about 400,000 patients in northwest Calgary and Cochrane and, with community partners, offers round-the-clock care to support better health outcomes. It employs nearly 200 staff, including health management nurses, clinical pharmacists, behavioral health consultants, social workers, dietitians and administrative staff, and it continues to grow. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the PCN operates within the hospitals and health care sector to connect patients with primary care through its clinicians and clinics. A notable development in 2026 is a partnership with the Chiropractic Association of Alberta to pilot funded chiropractic visits for adults with low back pain in Northwest Calgary and Cochrane.
