The California Agricultural Leadership Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation focused on leadership training and transformational learning for California agriculture. It partners with five California universities—Cal Poly Pomona; Cal Poly San Luis Obispo; California State University, Fresno; Chico State; and the University of California, Davis—to support the California Agricultural Leadership Program. Based in Monterey, California, the foundation administers what is described as the longest continuously operating leadership training experience of its kind in the United States. Its stated mission is to grow leaders who make a difference, with a vision of leaders united to strengthen California agriculture and sustainably supply the world. Beyond the core program, CALF supports alumni learning opportunities, educational fellowships, and industry partnerships, and a recent governance update added Erin O'Donnell and Michael Frantz to the board of directors in 2026.
