The California Association of School Psychologists is the statewide professional association for school psychologists in California. It provides training, information, support, and representation to practitioners working in California's school systems. Its members collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and parents across school districts to support student learning and address learning, social, and adjustment issues; in January 2018 CASP released an updated position paper on Larry P regarding African American student achievement and success. Based in Sacramento, California, CASP operates within the civic and social sector and serves the state's educational community.
