The California Coalition for Youth is a statewide grassroots nonprofit that serves disconnected youth aged 12 to 24 across California. Its membership comprises youth, youth advocates, and youth-serving organizations, and governance is provided by a statewide board drawn from those constituencies. The organization seeks to improve and empower the lives of California's youth, with a vision that every young person in the state has access to the services, resources, support, and programs needed for a successful future. Within the civic and social sector, CCY advocates for public policies and services that protect and empower youth rights. Based in Sacramento, California, the coalition maintains a statewide reach and facilitates direct engagement with policymakers, including opportunities for members to participate in hearings and legislative meetings. In March 2026, Tate Hill, president and CEO of Access Plus Capital, was named board chair.
