Located in Sacramento, California, the California Museum is a nonprofit organization that documents and presents California's history, its diversity, and its impact on ideas, innovation, art, and culture. It serves as the home of the California Hall of Fame and offers interactive experiences designed to educate, engage, and enlighten visitors. In early 2026, the museum announced that its executive director would retire in the summer after more than a decade in the role. The venue welcomes guests Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with admission priced for adults and reduced rates for students, seniors, and youth, while children five and under enter free.
