California Natural Products operates in the food and beverage services sector, emphasizing nutritional, natural, and organic offerings. It runs a modern aseptic processing and packaging facility in Lathrop, California, supporting shelf-stable beverages and related products. With more than three decades in business, the company developed and patented natural processes for rice syrup, rice syrup solids, and rice milk in the 1980s, and helped pioneer natural and organic aseptic beverage packaging in the 1990s.

The business operates as a mid-sized firm focusing on delivering high-quality products on time at competitive costs, with a commitment to customer satisfaction. In 2018, California Natural Products was acquired by Gehl Foods, LLC, placing its operations within Gehl's portfolio. Over its 30-plus year history, the company has introduced many new products to the marketplace and has reinvested in its facility, people, and systems to maintain its role in the nutritional and organic food movements.
