The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence is a statewide coalition in California that coordinates efforts to address domestic violence. It represents more than a thousand advocates, organizations, and allied individuals, and has operated for nearly four decades across local, state, and national levels. It has helped pass more than 200 pieces of legislation aimed at improving safety and services for domestic violence victims and their children. Based in Sacramento, the organization positions itself within the civic and social sector as a recognized state coalition that connects advocates with policymakers to advance policy change and prevention. Its work targets advocates, service providers, and allied professionals who support survivors, facilitating collaboration and shared expertise across the statewide network. A recent development is the May 2026 launch of the Journalist Playbook, created in partnership with the Blue Shield of California Foundation to assist journalists covering domestic violence under deadline.
