Membership in California State Retirees is open to all retired employees of the State of California, their spouses and beneficiaries.

Civil Service, State University, supervisory and management employees have become active members of California's largest organization for state retirees.

Our dues are minimal, but the benefits of membership are significant. Our dues range from $1 to $12 per month, depending on your CalPERS monthly allowance.

When you join, your voice is added to more than 37,000 other members of California State Retirees. Our opinion matters to legislators, our governor, the CalPERS Board of Administration and other agencies that can impact the pensions and benefits of state retirees.

We strongly oppose legislation that threatens to undermine the extremely successful CalPERS system.
