CalNonprofits, formally the California Association of Nonprofits, serves as the statewide policy alliance for California's nonprofit sector, representing more than 10,000 organizations. Based in San Francisco, it pursues policy work, convenes events, and conducts research to support the sector, including sponsorship of California Nonprofits Day and the Causes Count study examining the economic impact of nonprofit activity in the state.
