CAMP BROADWAY LLC is the 2016 Special Drama Desk Award-winning company for introducing young people to the magic of theater and playing a crucial role in creating tomorrow’s audiences. Founded in 1995 and known as Broadway’s original summer camp, Camp Broadway’s mission is to make theatre accessible for creative children to build confidence, hone presentation skills and discover their unique talents. The company is a leader in audience engagement and a trusted source for year-round youth enrichment programs, experiential events and educational workshops that set the gold standard for professional, authorized musical theater and drama programming for amateurs.

Over 37,000 children from around the world have attended Camp Broadway’s annual camp in New York and at partner theaters in Atlanta, Buffalo, Greenville, Hartford, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Miami, Pittsburgh, Providence, San Antonio, Tempe and Westhampton Beach. An experienced team of Broadway director/choreographers and music directors teach all programs and special appearances at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and other premier entertainment venues.

The company has been honored for excellence by the Educational Theatre Association, awarded for leadership by the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce, and celebrated for its positive social impact by the Best of New York. It has hosted over 400,000 students at Broadway-themed workshops, serves as the line producer of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (The Jimmy’s) for The Broadway League Foundation, as well as New York’s own Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance.

For two decades, Camp Broadway LLC has played a part in developing creative artists and knowledgeable audiences.
