The site began as Camp Johnson, a summer refuge for Fly Town families, and expanded to 167 acres in the 1920s thanks to donations; the lodge was built in honor of the late wife of a guild board member. Today, the property serves private and corporate clients in the Greater Columbus area, offering two summer camps—Adventure Academy and Discovery Day Camp—and rental spaces for events. Its adventure activities, including high ropes and a climbing wall, along with team-building programs, support the organization's goal to empower individuals, strengthen families, and foster community.
