Campus Compact is a national association in the higher education sector, based in Boston, Massachusetts. It supports colleges and universities in advancing their academic and civic missions by partnering with communities to address complex social issues and promote equity, justice, and shared prosperity. It is described as the largest and oldest national association devoted to higher education civic and community engagement, with a broad network of presidents, faculty, researchers, students, and civic engagement experts. In 2025, it partnered with the American Association of Colleges and Universities, More Perfect, and the University of Virginia's Karsh Institute of Democracy to launch the Higher Education Democracy Exchange, a virtual platform aimed at uniting campuses in advancing the civic mission of higher education and connecting civic learning to public problem-solving.
