As a not-for-profit organization, we place researchers at the heart of our operations. Our Board of Directors, our Editors, and many of our employees all have an academic research background. 

We publish some of Canada’s longest-running and most respected scientific journals, which were initiated by Canada’s National Research Council many years ago. We’re Canadian-based and while we have a strong focus on Canadian research, we also publish research from around the globe.
