Capital Ale House is a mid-sized restaurant group based in Richmond, Virginia, operating five locations across the state, including downtown Richmond, Glen Allen, Midlothian, Fredericksburg, and Harrisonburg, with Fairfax planned. Founded in 2002, the company centers its dining experience on a broad beer program that features craft beers from around the world and a strong emphasis on Virginia brews. Each venue offers a substantial draft selection—typically between 66 and 103 beers—and also provides bottled and canned options for take-away. The business pursues local sourcing through its Project Virginia initiative to incorporate Virginia ingredients into its main dishes.

Its customer base includes beer enthusiasts and diners seeking craft-beer pairings in a casual dining setting, positioning Capital Ale House in Virginia's beer-focused casual-dining segment. In 2016 the company partnered with regional breweries to host a Fall Beer Dinner benefiting the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Child Day Care Center.
