Since that day, Capital Lighting has been driven by the idea of partnerships. Their first employee - Jeff Santille - is still proud to work at Capital Lighting, and their first customer partnership with MI Homes is going strong after 25 years of building together. That customer-centric and partner-centric approach has paid off. After the first few years, they’d partnered with 80% of Columbus builders, a market share that’s still held today. Soon they were able to start work on a custom facility, and the 32,000 square foot building (complete with a 7,500 square foot showroom) opened its doors on Polaris Parkway in 1999 — less than ten years after King and Winks started the company. After two and a half decades, Capital Lighting still lives and breathes the same dedication to customers and vendor partners. Our showroom has allowed us to become a leader in both the builder and retail markets.
