Capital Mat is a division of Capital Veneer Works, Inc. that manufactures hardwood crane mats for the oil and gas pipeline construction industry.  We produce mats from 16 to 20 ft long and up to 12" thick with our standard mat being 18 ft long, 4 ft wide, 8 inches thick.  They are primarily used as a temporary solid road for equipment access to the ROW for a pipeline construction area but can be used for any wet or environmentally sensitive area for any type of construction.
