Capstone Equities Manager LLC (“CEM”) is a New York based investment management firm founded in 2011, specializing in event driven, distressed and real asset investment strategies. The investment manager provides a highly institutional product in terms of investment team, investment process, risk management, transparency and world class back office. The highly motivated team is led by Joshua Zamir, a value investor, who, in his earlier career, acquired over $1.5 billion worth of New York City real estate in partnership with world class institutional investors. Applying the same fundamental, value oriented investment approach, Josh and the investment team have successfully managed the strategy since 2011. Josh has been the lead in several credit committees including a Spanish home builder and an Italian hospitality company. Josh has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a MS & BS from New York University.
