Care and Counseling is an interfaith counseling agency that is a leading provider of professional mental health services, educational programming and consulting. We provide counseling to adults, children, couples, families, clergy and their families on a sliding scale, according to their ability to pay. Our 24 psychotherapists provide services at our main center in Creve Coeur and in offices located in church facilities throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. Currently we have nine centers located in five counties in Missouri and one county in Illinois. In FY 2010-11 we served over 1,450 individuals more than 13,000 hours of counseling related services. We provided five different group therapy groups serving over 100 people at 150 sessions. Additionally, Care and Counseling offers the only psychodynamic, systems and pastoral psychotherapy training program in the region where mental health professionals and clergy receive training through programs, traditional coursework, seminars, training events and clinical supervision. Several psychotherapists also provide consulting and psychological testing for pastors and their families, congregations, judicatories and candidates for ordination. In FY 2010-11 we provided 15 Case Conferences with 39 external attendees attending 68 total sessions, plus 30 internal attendees at each and 33 Training Program classes for 11 people attending 109 total hours and 61 community educational programs to 1,347 people.
