What is Care Flight? Care Flight is a Critical Care Transport air ambulance available for service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with experienced certified care flight nurses, critical flight paramedics and highly skilled pilots. A Care Flight response can be requested by public safety agencies, hospitals, physicians or other health or public service organizations of Northern Nevada and Northeastern California. Care Flight provides critical care during transport for patients of all ages. Who is Care Flight? At Care Flight, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, safe, rapid and highly specialized Critical Care Transport Services for our patients. We strive to be the most reliable, timely, expedient, and caring air ambulance provider in the industry. With a highly qualified medical staff and state-of-the-art medical equipment, we can provide you the patient with excellent service and quality care. With a dedicated dispatch service, we have the ability to respond to critical patients within minutes of a request. Care Flight can be requested to transfer critically ill patients to a hospital with specialized treatment and services, or to the scene of a critically ill or injured patient to assist local emergency responders. Care Flight is a service of REMSA (Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority) based in Reno, Nevada and is a non-profit 501 (c) (3), non-subsidized, self-supporting organization and has been caring for patients in Northern Nevada & North Eastern California since 1981.
