The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) is a regional industry association based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, founded in 1962. It represents the private sector of the Caribbean hospitality industry, bringing together 33 national hotel associations, more than 600 hotels with about 91,000 rooms, and upwards of 300 Allied supplier members. The organization functions as the collective voice for Caribbean hospitality to support development in international tourism, with a mission to unlock the sector's potential by serving members' needs and forging partnerships in a socially responsible and sustainable manner. The association serves hotels, national associations, and allied suppliers across the Caribbean, helping them navigate competition in international tourism and pursue sustainability and collaboration. In 2025, it expanded its resources with an AI Transformation Guide Version 2.0 and published the Caribbean Tourism Industry Performance & 2025 Outlook Report, reflecting ongoing activity and industry analysis.
