Carlow is a private, co-educational Catholic university located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s “Eds, Meds, and Tech” district.

Undergraduate, graduate, and certificate degree options are offered in Health and Wellness, Education, and Arts, Discovery, and Expression, in fields ranging from nursing, the sciences, and perfusion technology to counseling, education, and forensic accounting. Carlow’s small class sizes and world-renowned staff offer students the individual attention they need to become ethical leaders of the future. At Carlow, we have 17 varsity athletic teams, known as the Celtics, which reflects our university’s Irish heritage and roots. While we’re devoted to our student-athletes, we know some of our most important teams are found in the faculty, who work together to ensure our student-athletes’ success both in the classroom and on the field.
