Carr Hardware is a locally owned and operated hardware and industrial supplier. Carr provides to homeowners, contractors, commercial customers, institutions and government agencies throughout Berkshire County, the state of Massachusetts and the surrounding areas of New York State, Vermont and Connecticut. In addition, Carr is a supplier for the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium and one of the select vendors that hold a statewide industrial and builders contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO). With over 40,000 items in stock, Carr offers a wide range of products including paint, tools, hardware, seasonal needs and a new pet center to name a few.

Originally founded by Sam Carr in 1928, the company was purchased by the Raser family in 1962 and day-to-day operations are still handled by Marshall and his son, Bart. Carr Hardware has built a successful operation throughout Berkshire County and employs over 100 people within its four locations. Each location offers years of specialty experience, allowing Carr to provide expert advice and quality service to their customers. This has been the foundation of their business since opening their doors over 80 years ago.
