Casa Marianella is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas that provides shelter and support services to displaced immigrants. Founded in 1986, it serves both men and women, with a separate branch in nearby facilities for women with children, offering housing alongside access to legal and medical resources, food, clothing, English classes, and other essential services. The organization aims to promote self-sufficiency for its guests and the broader immigrant community, sheltering hundreds of individuals annually through three adjacent houses and its women-with-children program, Posada Esperanza, which operates across multiple homes. In addition to direct shelter, Casa Marianella supports clients by connecting them with legal aid and healthcare resources, contributing to their ability to navigate housing, safety, and integration needs. The work positions Casa Marianella within the non-profit sector focused on immigrant services, expanding its reach through partnerships and community engagement over several decades.
