Casa Myrna is a Boston-based nonprofit that provides shelter and a range of supportive services to survivors of domestic violence, including safety planning, advocacy, resources, and information. Founded in 1977, its supports are offered at no charge and are available to all survivors regardless of race, ethnicity, language, gender identity or expression, disability, age, or sexual orientation. The organization also runs SafeLink, the statewide domestic violence hotline, and pursues prevention through education and outreach. It operates within the nonprofit sector focused on domestic violence response and serves a broad community in and around Boston. In 2019, Casa Myrna expanded its facilities by purchasing two buildings in the Dorchester neighborhood of Grove Hall. In October 2022, the organization named Vernette Allen as Director of Community Engagement and Advocacy.
