Castle Environmental is a leading supplier of specialist waste treatment, disposal and recycling services. Established more than 35 years ago, we handle in excess of 250,000 tonnes per year of wastes. We have fully permitted sites at Ilkeston, Stoke-on-Trent and Cardiff which enable us to provide nationwide services for the removal of a wide range of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes such as acids, alkalis, contaminated effluents etc. We are ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001 accredited and are active members of the Environmental Services Association. We are committed to reducing dependence on landfill based disposal routes. As one example, we have achieved the relevant 'end of waste' criteria for the incorporation of washed air pollution control residues in our manufacture of precast concrete blocks. We have a dedicated Research and Development team who focus on recycling/recovery options for a variety of wastes.
