Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest's largest nonprofit shelter dedicated exclusively to cats. Based in Sherwood, Oregon, the organization provides shelter, medical care, evaluation, and treatment for homeless cats and focuses on placing them in suitable homes. It operates within the civic and social sector, coordinating with staff and volunteers and partnering with other groups to reduce the likelihood of cats facing euthanasia. 
In addition to adoption services, CAT offers resources and education for cat guardians and low-cost spay/neuter services to support responsible pet ownership. Since its founding in 1998, the shelter has helped find homes for more than 60,000 cats and kittens and maintains collaborations with animal welfare organizations, veterinary offices, and other shelters to extend its impact. A notable development in 2023 was a $28,000 investment from Petco Love to support CAT's programs.
