Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee, based in New Roads, Louisiana, operates in the religious institutions sector as a Catholic school serving the Pointe Coupee community. Its core objective is to provide a faith-informed education that weaves religious formation, academic coursework, and disciplined conduct, with students developing their talents for service to school, church, and society. The school articulates a set of shared values, including acceptance of each student’s inherent abilities, mutual respect among teachers, students, and families, and the responsibility of educators in guiding learning. Curriculum and activities are designed to foster critical thinking, sound judgment, appreciation of diverse backgrounds, and preparation for democratic participation, guided by high expectations for student learning. The institution operates with a small to mid-sized staff to support its programs. In June 2026, it announced the appointment of Matthew Moreau as head football coach and athletic director.
