After years of doodling silly monsters and sketching his favorite Pushead skulls and Goosebumps covers, Aaron decided to post art on Myspace to share it with friends. Soon after, he was contacted by a handful of local bands who were in need of T-shirt designs. So he buckled down, stayed up until sunrise, and taught himself basic Photoshop skills and created his first ever shirt designs. From there, word spread through the power of the internet / social media, and it snowballed into a full-time job designing bold and colorful art for t-shirts, cd art, posters, and other merchandise for international signed metal and hardcore bands.
In May of 2012, after years of designing freelance for the music industry and nurturing a self taught background in merchandise design, Aaron decided to change paths and take his own personal pop culture / horror inspired art and release it on affordable T-shirts and Prints under the name CAVITYCOLORS. This slowly turned into a full time, internationally recognized brand featuring high quality T-shirts, Tanktops, Hoodies, Art Prints, Buttons, Stickers, and more that is inspired by my earliest obsessions with VHS cover art, Halloween, heavy metal album covers, and skateboarding, while also collaborating with some of the leading artists / designers working today. He is always on a never ending quest down a path lined with glowing pumpkins, seeking that exact same feeling he had when he was a kid discovering those magical things for the very first time. This inspiration and madness spills over into the things that are created for Cavitycolors. We are here to maybe bring you the same nostalgic feeling you get while eating a slice of birthday cake with ice cream on top and watching your favorite monster movie after midnight, or throwing on your favorite costume on October 31st!
