Cedar Hill Holdings was originally formed as a family office to invest in real estate and other value oriented investments. While Cedar Hill has interests in other diversified investment activities, real estate is our foundation. Cedar Hill members began a career of real estate investment management and structuring in the 1970’s and subsequently started our core business of real estate bridge loans in 1976. Since then, Cedar Hill has focused primarily on originating commercial real estate bridge loans, purchasing non-performing real estate debt, and investing in other value oriented investments.

Cedar Hill has successfully invested in cycles of growth and recession, with significant investment experience in economies undergoing turmoil, such as: the Savings and Loan crises in the early 1990’s, the bond crises in 1998 and the financial distress in the wake of September 11, 2001. Cedar Hill professionals have become experts in high yield commercial real estate debt origination, portfolio and asset due diligence & valuation, asset management, venture capital, restructuring and workouts.
