Cencosud S.A. is a multi-format retailer with operations in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and the United States, supported by a commercial office in China and a Technology Center in Uruguay. It was founded in 1960 in Chile by Horst Paulmann Kemna and has grown through a combination of organic expansion and acquisitions.
