Center for Discovery is a mid-sized mental health care provider offering both residential and outpatient treatment for adults and youths. The organization focuses on eating disorders for men and women and also serves teens with eating disorders, as well as teens dealing with mental health challenges and substance use issues. Each location specializes in a single treatment program, enabling a high level of program focus, and facilities keep resident numbers small to maintain an intimate setting with a higher staff-to-client ratio. The treatment model emphasizes real-life applicability by situating care in residential neighborhoods or outpatient facilities and aims to treat clients with dignity and personhood rather than as patients.

Based in Irvine, California, Center for Discovery has been delivering services for more than twenty years. It operates within the mental health care industry, emphasizing specialization across its sites to address its identified client groups. In October 2024, the organization announced the formation of a Neurodivergent+ Affinity Group, reflecting an ongoing effort to address diverse needs within its programs.
