The Center for Houston's Future is a think tank and nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas. Founded in 2000 as a 501(c)(3), it focuses on identifying forthcoming challenges and opportunities for the nine-county Houston region and bringing together business and community leaders to address them through research and practical strategies. The organization positions independent leadership, rigorous research, and practical solutions at the center of its work for the region. In 2020 it launched a carbon capture project in collaboration with Microsoft, Schlumberger, and Clean Energy Solutions. In August 2024, David Gow was appointed president and CEO.
