Centers of Wellness for Urban Women (CWUW) is a small, all-volunteer organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana, founded in 2007. It serves urban women and their families by promoting health and well-being through education, advocacy, prevention, and care. The organization uses a holistic framework centered on seven dimensions of wellness to connect mind, body, and spirit in everyday life, covering physical, spiritual, environmental, occupational, intellectual, emotional, and social aspects. Addressing each dimension is intended to support healthy decision‑making and strengthen family dynamics.
