The Central Alabama Community Foundation is a small nonprofit based in Montgomery, Alabama, serving nonprofits and students across the River Region and Wiregrass. It distributes more than $5 million annually in grants and scholarships to support programs in education, human services, health, cultural arts, and other civic priorities. The foundation operates across multiple counties, including Autauga, Coffee, Cullman, Dale, Elmore, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, and Pike. Based in the region for more than thirty years, CACF functions as a local resource that connects donors with community needs. In July 2024, the foundation announced a strategic partnership with the Community Foundation of East Alabama, which will be renamed the East Alabama Community Foundation. That same year it appointed Kendell Willett as Development Officer.
