Our History

Central Credit Union of Florida started as West Florida Central Credit Union in 1962.  For more than 50 years, CCUFL has shown what a credit union really is... people helping people.  CCUFL has strived to be a community credit union by incorporating the membership and values of the credit union that have come together to form Central Credit Union.

CCUFL's field of membership now includes anyone living, working, or attending school in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Bay, Walton, Washington, and Duval counties in Florida, bringing our assets to more than $153 million and our membership to more than 15,430.

Central Credit Union has achieved a 5-star rating from Bauer Financial since 1995 and won the Pensacola News Journal Best of the Bay credit union category in 2014 and received nominations as finalists in 2015 and 2017.
