Central Mercantile Collection Services is a national commercial business-to-business debt collection agency based in the Detroit area.  CMCS was founded in 1984 by Dale Smith; today our management staff has over 100 years of hands-on debt collection experience.  We are dedicated to being your full-service debt collection solution by increasing the percentage of bad debt recovery in a professional manner, while preserving client image. We handle specialty collections for insurance companies as well as commercial accounts for clients in all 50 states. CMCS is a contingency based agency and there are no upfront fees or sign-up Charges for placing claims with our collection agency. We receive a fee only if we are able to collect on the account. If we do not collect your claim we will not charge a fee for our services.  We also allow free revisions, free demand, and free credit reports* for our clients.
  
CMCS takes great care in the hiring and training of all personnel to assure that professionalism is maintained on all levels. We seek  hire only collectors with extensive collection experience.
