Central Pines Regional Council is a regional, member-based organization within the government administration sector that serves a seven-county area in North Carolina, headquartered in Durham. Founded in 1959 as the Research Triangle Regional Planning Commission, it coordinates planning and policy efforts across multiple jurisdictions.
