Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1985 and is part of a global nonprofit housing initiative. Since 1985, Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity has built more than 250 homes in partnership with volunteers from all over central South Carolina. 

But Habitat doesn't just build homes. With programs ranging from construction, and neighborhood revitalization, to youth education and home ownership education, Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity affects many in the South Carolina midlands. 

At Habitat we believe that each individual plays a vital role in improving our community, and building a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
